Here are a few stocks, which may buzz the most in today’s session.
NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange were trading 31.50 points, or 0.29 per cent, higher at 10,892.50, indicating a positive start for the Nifty50. Here are a few stocks, which may buzz the most in today’s session:

Infosys: India’s second largest IT player in terms of revenue may not post spectacular numbers for December quarter on Friday, but all eyes will be on it for any revision in revenue growth guidance, a possible share buyback announcement and a likely upward estimate in margins in the wake of a fall in the rupee.

Jet Airways The airline which had its credit rating cut to default this month, is weighing a resumption of stake-sale talks with the Tata Group as the carrier is poised to run out of cash, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg.

TCS: Tata Consultancy Services reported higher revenues for the third quarter of the fiscal year even as the increased cost of hiring employees and sub-contractors in its main market — the United States — hurt margins at India’s largest software services exporter, signalling similar concerns for the industry at large.

YES Bank: Rajesh Sud, shortlisted by the Yes Bank board to succeed Rana Kapoor as the lender’s next chief executive, has pulled out of the race for the top job, leaving insider Rajat Monga as the sole recommendation for the regulator to approve, said two people familiar with the matter.

Page Industries, Mindtree: Market grapevine has it that an offshore fund, which shares the name of an ancient university, is offloading some of the stocks that it has held for a while. The talk is that the fund has been selling Page Industries, Mindtree, Supreme Industries, V-Guard and Kewal Kiran Clothing.

BSE: The exchange on Thursday said it has received markets regulator Sebi's approval to introduce weekly futures and options contracts on the S&P BSE BANKEX.

SBI: State Bank of India (SBI) has appointed Kotak Mahindra Capital, HSBC India, CLSA, Bank of America-Merrill Lynch and SBI Caps to manage its qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue, said people with knowledge of the matter.

Maruti Suzuki: The company said it is raising prices across its range of vehicles by up to Rs 10,000 due to higher commodity costs and adverse foreign exchange movement. The revised prices come into effect from January 10. The company had last month announced its intention to raise vehicle prices.

Lakshmi Vilas Bank: Private sector lender Lakshmi Vilas Bank’s Rs 2,000-crore capital raising plan has hit a rough patch as potential investors balk at putting money at this stage when the bank may need to make higher provisions for loan losses, two people familiar with the matter told ET.

Tata Motors: Jaguar Land Rover is set to announce up to 5,000 job cuts on Thursday, a television channel reported, after being buffeted by slumping sales in China and concerns over Brexit, AFP reported.

Reliance Industries: The company on Thursday said it would shut two units of its Jamnagar refinery in Gujarat for four weeks due to routine maintenance.

ONGC: ONGC Petro Additions (OPaL), a petrochemical company owned by Oil & Natural Gas Corp, won a major international arbitration case against South Korea’s Daelim Industrial Company for abandoning a high-stakes project. An international arbitral tribunal in Singapore said Daelim had breached its contractual obligations.

HFCL: Domestic telecom gear maker HFCL Thursday said it has bagged two orders of worth around Rs 502 crore for supply of optical fibre cable from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and a consortium led by ITI.

IOC, Vedanta: Vedanta reduced crude oil supplies to Indian Oil Corp for about three months until October even as the two negotiated oil rates for the year and restored it to the officially allocated level only after the government intervened.

IL&FS group stocks: Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services, which is selling assets to repay debt of about Rs 91,000 cr, won’t provide indemnity and warranties to potential buyers, a move that will drive down valuations steeply

Concor: Container Corporation of India (Concor), a Navratna PSU, is looking at an annual turnover of Rs 25,000 crore in the next five years, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said Friday.
