Liverpool take on Jurgen Klopp's old club Dortmund tomorrow night - and you can watch the game for free.

Fans are able to view the match on TV for no cost because of a row between Virgin and UKTV.

Their dispute has led to 10 channels being axed, leaving the company's four million TV customers without access to hundreds of popular programmes.

To make up for the loss Virgin will be making the Premier Sports HD channel available to all TV customers initially for two months, with no additional subscription required (usually £9.99 per month).

TV channels showing popular shows including Red Dwarf, One Born Every Minute and Top Gear are set to disappear.

Jurgen Klopp jets out for pre-season

It's all down to a dispute between Virgin Media and UKTV over on-demand programming, which is restricted because UKTV is owned by Discovery and the BBC .

The UKTV stable of channels makes up more than 25% of the basic Virgin pay-TV package, and includes channels such as Dave and Alibi, the Mirror reports .

The BBC holds on-demand rights for its shows, selling them on to the likes of Netflix - but Virgin Media wants to get the rights too, and says discussions are ongoing.
