DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Clean-up is underway after powerful storms swept through parts of Ohio.

The National Weather Service is sending crews to survey possible tornado damage.

The video below, provided by Wendy Gerstner, shows a possible tornado on State Route 219 in Auglaize County.

Auglaize EMA shared a similar video captured as first responders drove along State Route 364.

Greenville in Darke County was among the hardest hit in Southwest Ohio. Due to the damage, Greenville City Schools closed Wednesday, and Edison State’s Greenville Campus was delayed.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office said its officers had responded throughout the night to reports of damage.

A tornado warning was issued for the county shortly before 8:15 p.m. Tuesday. Within 10 minutes, the sheriff’s office said it had begun to receive reports of damage.

The sheriff’s office said the path of the storm continued east of Greenville through Greenville and Adams townships to the Miami County line.

The sheriff’s office said there is widespread damage throughout Greenville. People were asked to avoid traveling through the city as crews worked to clean up and restore utilities.

The 911 center received reports of downed trees and power lines, as well as damage to homes and buildings.

While some of the physical damage is significant, there are currently no reports of any serious injuries.
